A little bit about me...

I have always been drawn to the field of Women’s Health and Pelvic Health. Specialising early in my career at The Royal Free Hospital in London, I enjoyed working with women on the postnatal wards and in the outpatient setting supporting them through their pregnancy and postnatal care.

Later moving into a private musculoskeletal clinic, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, helping them overcome a wide range of injuries and rehabilitation needs. This experience has allowed me to refine my skills in manual therapy and advance in exercise prescription to the athletic population.

In recent years, I've been focusing on integrating these specialisms to help women break through barriers and regain confidence in their bodies. Whether it's returning to exercise after childbirth or addressing pelvic health concerns, my goal is to empower women to live their lives to the fullest.

With advanced training in the Female Athlete Runner, Breast Health and as a Mummy MOT practitioner to name a few, I want to enable Women to fulfil and enjoy their roles in the work place, on the field and at home with their families.

WHAT IS A WOMENS HEALTH PHYSIO?

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is a specialist area of physiotherapy treating all problems relating to the pelvis and pelvic floor. It has been shown to be highly effective in the treatment of these conditions and I am dedicated to help women fully understand their condition via my bespoke, holistic and whole body approach to treatment. I enjoy treating all aspects of pelvic health and in particular helping those maintain health and comfort throughout pregnancy, return to optimum function and fitness post-natally and those seeking help with pelvic pain including conditions such as vulvodynia, vaginismus and endometriosis.

As many as 1 in 3 women experience pelvic floor issues at some stage in their lives, and I feel passionate that these women be cared for by a specialised physiotherapist who can appropriately assess, diagnose and treat with the expertise, time and empathy that these patients deserve to help overcome their problems.
